URA (裏) | 2022 (二〇二二)

Before long, Western styles became our daily clothing and wafuku, the traditional Japanese clothing became attire for special occasions.

Wafuku became something which we wear during a special occasion, like weddings or the birth of a child.

To increase the chance to incorporate "wa" into our daily fit and style, we designed a hanten and haori that can be worn in fusion with other styles.

The shape of the sleeves, the length, and the material have been carefully selected to easily coordinate with modern daily outfits.

The Ura (裏) project is to give the world a new sense of style, one that incorporates the style and balance of "wa"
